Located on Yang Ming Mountain, 
Chinese Culture University offers students 
a relaxed and inspiring learning environment.

CCU was established in 1962 and 
is one of the largest universities in Taiwan 
with an enrollment of about 32,000 students.

Hwa Kang Museum 華岡博物館


Established in 1971, Hwa Kang Museum 
was the first and the biggest 
university museum 
in Taiwan.




Many roofs of the campus buildings 
are covered with yellow tiles. 

The color yellow has been linked with 
Chinese traditional culture. 

Confucius, a philosopher and educator 
at the end of the Spring-Autumn period, 
defined yellow as one of 
the "pure and superior colors" 
which are incorporated into the traditional values of 
"benevolence, righteousness, rites, wisdom and trust."
