Keelung Islet

 Keelung Islet is the little island in the background.  
It is a volcanic island surrounded by cliffs. 
It is located 3.35 km northeast of 
northern shore of Keelung.

The White Sand Beach (or Baishawan)


To get to the White Sand Beach, you can just 
take the MRT to Tamsui and then hop on
any bus that is heading north around the coast.

It was a beautiful summer afternoon in early August.


There was no cloud in the sky.


But there was a wind blowing.



I enjoyed watching the blue sea stretching to the horizon,


and could almost feel the wind that bent the reeds,


and hear the sound of the waves that broke 
in foam upon the shore.
